Deia Portraits. The book project:
portraits of Deia natives and foreigners characters. A real mix of cultural coexistence since Robert Graves arrived on the island in 1929.
Shots started at the beginning of October 2019 at the Hotel La Residencia and then in Christmas at sala d’actes de l’Ajuntament de Deia.
I was scheduled to continue shooting during the Easter holidays but the Covid-19 has discontinued.
From the beginning of September to the middle of October 2020 more characters were shooted in Can Vanrell (Tolito’s home in Es Clot).
From August to the beginning of October 2021 I have set up the estudio in Cecile Sheridan’s main room: A real full-blown invasion.
This work will be published in summer 2024.
