Most of the pieces pay tribute to the European banknotes that circulated before the introduction of the euro. Through portraits of historical figures, national symbols and graphic elements that formed part of everyday life for decades, these works explore memory, identity and the disappearance of a shared iconography that remains an important part of Europe’s cultural heritage.

This series of fine art photographs is created through the transfer of Polaroid emulsions of all formats, assembled as collages or printed on hand-coated natural papers.

By combining analogue photographic techniques with handcrafted processes, each work becomes a unique and unrepeatable piece. The imperfections, textures and material transformations inherent to the process ensure that no two works are ever the same.
