Estas fotografías son una aproximación a dos territorios.
 Ambos reflejan lo más esencial: la tierra y la vida. 
Soy consciente de su aspecto antropológico, 
pero la antropología no es la razón de estas imágenes. 
He procurado ser fiel a lo intemporal y dentro de este ámbito costumbrista 
destacar la sencillez de una forma de vida y de paisaje. 
No hay folclore, sino el corazón del niño que aún recibe el aroma de lo duradero. 
Así, pues, he pensado en mi madre y en mi tierra 
y a ellas dedico estas imágenes.

These images are an approach to two territories.
Both reflect most essential: the country and the life.
I am conscious of its anthropological aspect,
but the anthropology is not the reason of these images.
I have tried to emphasize the simplicity of a landscape and life form.
There is no folklore, but the heart of the child
who still receives the aroma of the lasting thing.
Thus, then, I have thought about my mother
and in my country and to them I dedicate this images.
